TX-101 è un sequencer a 4 tracce specifico per la creazione di pattern ritmici evolutivi. Ogni traccia contiene 4 campioni diversi (per un totale di 16 campioni) tra suoni organici, glitch e rumori metallici. È possibile salvare 8 preset per i pattern e concatenarli insieme per costruire una sequenza lunga fino a 128 step (16×8). È inoltre possibile scegliere gli step per attivare il Delay o il Flanger come se fossero due tracce aggiuntive. Tutti i parametri (cutoff, resonance, effetti) e gli step possono essere randomizzati separatamente. Sono presenti 6 variazioni (.nki instrument) di TX-101 per mood e stili diversi. Per ognuno di questi la modulation wheel è assegnata ad un diverso set di parametri/effetti.

TX-101 is a 4-track sequencer designed for the creation of evolving rhythm patterns. Each track has 4 different samples (for a total of 16 samples), including organic glitches and metal hits. It is possible to store eight presets that can be joined and looped together to build a 128 steps sequence (16×8). It is also possible to sequence Delay and Flanger effects as two additional tracks. Both parameters (cutoff, resonance, effects) and steps can be randomized separately.
There are 6 different variations (.nki instruments) of TX-101 for different mood/styles. The modulation wheel is also assigned to a different set of parameters for each instrument.
