Dalla notte dei tempi, è lapalissiano, il lavoro dei fonici è stato sempre caratterizzato da simili domande, in virtù del fatto, anche questo è scontato, che i microfoni rappresentano un anello importante, se non uno dei più determinanti, di una qualsiasi produzione audio.
La squadra di redattori di AoA (AgeOfAudio) è formata da tecnici che, così come tanti altri, si sono posti le stesse domande.
Ligi, quindi, a voler corrispondere ai lettori una giusta, corretta e trasparente indicazione delle caratteristiche foniche degli strumenti messi sotto test, da qualche mese abbiamo dato il via a questi video. Con questo lavoro, non si ha la pretesa di risolvere in modo definitivo le curiosità operative dell’uno o dell’altro strumento, ne tantomeno fornire dati tecnici, comunque importanti, ma riscontrabili anche dai siti ufficiali dei vari prodotti; piuttosto cercare di far capire all’utente in modo semplice e diretto quali possano essere le sfumature, spesso sottili, che accompagnano prodotti professionali.
Un primo assaggio del confronto tra due must dal target Project Studio o Studio Pro, come l’AKG C414 xls e l’sE 4400, lo trovate a questo link sotto forma di speakeraggio sia maschile che femminile. In tale test sono stati indicati sommariamente anche le specifiche tecniche dei due microfoni.

As sound engineers themselves, AoA (AgeOfAudio) editors raised the some questions.
Therefore, since few months we started this video series in order to provide our readers with a proper and clear overview of the sound features of the instruments being tested. Through these videos we do not aim at providing mere technical specifications that, although quite important, can be easily found on the official websites of the products; nor we claim to have the ultimate answer on the functionalities and peculiarities of these tools.
We rather want to explain in a direct and accessible way the subtle nuances of professional music equipment.
