The Korg MS-20 is a monophonic synthesizer, first introduced to the market in 1978, it is still a coveted instrument to this day, thanks to its thick, robust, powerful sound, iconic analog filter and its versatile patch options.
More than 300.000 people enjoyed the MS-20's different original tones, thanks to the Korg MS-20 synth plug-in, or the application ims-20 for iPad. Today, the sounds of the MS-20 have been regenerated in hardware, with the MS-20 Mini. The same engineers who developed the original MS-20 put the circuitry into a body that was reduced to 86% of the original size, still retains the appearance of the original.

It's been fifty years since Korg was founded, and we once again work on an analog synthesizer. We have taken special care to provide just fine tuning of the parameters, which are a feature of analog synthesizers. We have also completely reproduced the original specifications of the MS-20. The analog circuits we designed 35 years ago are still unbeatable and have a powerful sound, from ultra-low to ultra-high range.
