El Captain's new Apple OSX update is putting software and hardware manufacturers to the test again (and us poor users of course!).
It had already happened with Yosemite not so long ago and we barely survived, many still haven't upgraded.
Now unfortunately here we go again!
Native Instruments had said the first yours, but now we have the complete list.

Many reports of continuous disconnections are reported. For USB2 it is suggested to use a powered usb hub especially if you are using USB3 ports

Live 9.2.2 is compatible with OS X 10.11. But download the latest version from here with your account Ableton User Accounts
Nonetheless, Ableton and Sweetwater suggest checking hardware compatibility above all.

AKAI is working on it. It has released a list of confirmed NON compatibilities here (many are compatible)

Alesis
Alesis posted an updated list of the situation here here (almost everyone is being tested)
Allen & Heath
Allen & Heath for the moment washes his hands and offers no support to those who switch to EL Capitan. So you have to wait.
Antares
Antares currently has no compatible products. DO NOT!
Antelope Audio
Find solvable incompatibilities by downloading the new ones driver (only of the affected products)
Apple
Apple swears Logi Pro X works! Those who complain on the forum are assured that it depends on third party plugins, so watch out!
Apogee
Here the thing is more complex. Those who use Thunderbolt and USB ports seem to be safe. For the Firewire nothing to do. Also since Apple no longer invests in firewire, there will be no future on IOS.

Korg suggests NOT upgrading for now.

Nektar
Nektar gave the green light to the Impact series but not the Panorama one.
Novation
The compatibility list is here. Good for Launchpad and Launchkey, bad for Ultranova.
Numark
Numark suggests not upgrading. Further updates here.
PreSonus
PreSonus reports incompatibility. in particular Studio Live AI and the RM series, the classic Studio Live mixers and Audio Box VSL products. Ok for Studio One 2.6.5 but suggests NOT to do this!

Reason 8, Reason Essentials 8, and the Balance sound card are compatible with OS X 10.11.
Roland

Slate Digital does not support El Capitan.

Omnisphere 2, Trilian, and Stylus RMX work in El Capitan. obviously if the sequencer that runs them works!

Universal Audio
Products with Thunderbolt seem to work ,. Nothing to do for the Firewire. History here.
UVI
UVI claims that everything works even though Audio Unit with Logic Pro X and Main Stage are having problems. So don't upgrade this case. If you have, there is an interim solution here (at your own risk)
Zoom
The compatibility list is available here. Among the various still in the test phase Q4 and Q8.
