For a few days, Arturia has released the 5.3 update of its V Collection which we have already dealt with in this, we hope, comprehensive article.
This is a substantial update, Free for users V Collection 5, with which several have been accommodated bug fix and made some improvements to the virtual instruments that are part of it (in my specific case, for example, the Synclavier V, only in the standalone version, it produced no sound: now everything is ok!), even if the most important changes are found in the management of theASC (Arturia Software Control) and inAnalog Lab 2.

Regarding the first, theASC, the interface has been largely redesigned, now allowing you to update all the tools with a simple click (before you had to click on the relative individual buttons of each tool); moreover, the installation system works in the background, taking care of updating every single tool on its own, and then trashing the installation package itself. It has been tested on MacOS; I have no direct feedback for Windows, but the procedure should be the same.
Still in the ASC, structured on several layers, we can now view the Version Hystory of each instrument, knowing a priori on what the engineers of the software house French.
The most interesting aspect ofAnalog Lab 2instead, it's about the new SoundStore, where it is now possible to find new libraries also signed by famous international sound designers as well as "historical" groups such as and of Tangerine Dream. It should be noted that not all the new libraries are free. To this link you can find the specifics of each new sound library, listen to the demos, or download a demo version to be able to try it on your computer, in case you are not already users.
